'Where You Find Yourself'
This painting unfolded from my subsconscious after a trip to Auckland Botanic Gardens. I had started out painting a scene from the perennials, but right outside my studio window my canna lilies were brightly making their presence felt and so they had an influence on the canvas. Sometimes I think my head in one place but my heart is in a subtropical place a lot closer to home!

610mm x 910mm x 37mm - acrylic on canvas, satin varnish, sides painted off-white, signed, framed in a Tasmanian Oak wood frame and ready to hang.
