Inspired by recent travels in both rural Victoria, Australia and back at home up the iconic Desert Road in New Zealand we were treated to views of stunning volcanoes. I grew up surrounded by them in Auckland and now live near the beautiful Mauao and Putuaki. Wherever they are, they are unmistakeable, fascinating, dramatic and beautiful.
