'Rainy Day Blues'
I was painting moody evocative landscape paintings and the colour palette carried over into the bold abstract floral piece. The rain is coming down, the sky is dark, but the flowers turn their faces up, soak up the raindrops and bloom on regardless. They're a bright spot giving much needed joy as winter encroaches.
