'Milly-Molly-Mandy and Friends'
I've loved painting on these round canvases which feel like looking through a portal into a secret summer garden.I went back to my childhood storybooks with this one. A bit inspired by hollyhocks which for many years I had only seen in illustrations and it feels very exciting when they pop up in my garden now. And the morning glory were flowering so I think that's how the purple worked it's way in to my subconscious. I've continued the paint around the sides of the canvas to eliminate the need for framing.

600mm diameter x 20mm deep - acrylic on canvas, satin varnish, sides painted to match the front, signed and ready to hang.
