'Lost And Found Again'

'High On A Hilltop' is an abstract landscape painting in vivid, moody colours evocative of the Waikato winter landscape on bright sunlit days. I spent time around Hamilton for a week as my mum convalesced there. I was soaking up the beautiful hill and paddock shapes, the last of the autumn leaves on the trees and glimpses of the river and Maungatautari and Mt Pirongia looming in the distance. Whatever the circumstances in life I always take solace in nature and the colour in my surroundings.
