'Finding Joy Close To Home'
Finding Joy Close To Home started out as a landscape which I was not enjoying painting. I stopped fighting my instincts and let the flowers bloom and the painting then flowed very quickly. Lots of joyous floral colour just like I'm surrounded by at the moment. As a nod to the humble location that it sparked from I've included my garden fence in the painting.

510mm x 410mm x 37mm - acrylic on canvas, satin varnish, sides painted off-white, signed, framed in a Tasmanian Oak wood frame and ready to hang.
