'Between Hemispheres'
'Between Hemispheres' alludes to my love of northern hemisphere perennial type gardens while also being drawn to more subtropical gardens that thrive near me. After a few days spent north of Auckland at a hotel with a very lush garden I was rethinking how my gardens were at home and while deadheading hydrangeas, pondering whether I should bring back some hibiscus and more tropical species. I suspect the end result will be a fusion of the two places. A bit like myself!

610mm x 910mm x 37mm - acrylic on canvas, satin varnish, sides painted off-white, signed, framed in a Tasmanian Oak wood frame and ready to hang.
