'A Visit Up The Valley'
Every time I make the drive through the Karangahake Gorge on my way to Thames I get inspired to paint something that has been sparked by the journey. This time it was the spring blossom everywhere and the beautiful acid greens of the new foliage on the trees. My granddaughter is new to NZ and was looking out the car window in wonder , "Oma," she said " it's so beautiful it looks like a movie!" My thoughts exactly.
